Trianz – “Great Website - not so great reality”

Pros

Very professional for its specialty (IT and Financial). Good way to get in to big Silicon Valley companies (Cisco, Marvell, etc). Great benefits package for consultants after 90 days.

Cons

Marginal pay for arduous work. Review process didn't result in commensurate pay increase. Responses to HR issues / inquiries were slow and unsatisfactory. Older workers are not valued. Nepotism in my department was rampant.

Advice to Senior Management

Place more value on experience and maturity. Reward underlings with more than catchphrases and feel-good buzzwords at quarterly team meetings. Make salaries more in line with value added for performance.
