I have been working at Trinity College (Connecticut) part-time (more than a year)

    Pros

If you are a student it is a great place to work because it is an easy way to make money while going to school plus they are very understanding of one's situation no matter what it may be. Therefore if assignments or other things come up you don't have to be afraid to tell your bosses because they are very willing to help.

    Cons

The departments are a bit isolated, may take some getting used too depending on where you are from.

I have been working at Trinity College (Connecticut) full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

Good benefits, especially health and 401 k plan. Nice student body, though entitlement culture is still prevalent.

    Cons

Very political. Too many silos. No upward movement potential. Board is out of touch with realities on the ground. Feeling of mistrust on the campus between faculty and administration. No strong leadership.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Get your house in order. Academics have declined, pricetag is outrageous. Safety remains a big issue on and just off campus.
