Pros

My boss and co-workers: the attorneys and practice group support staff are wonderful!

Cons

Downtown/Midtown location....the commute is long.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Paralegals are more than support staff.....we are profit centers/bottom line contributors.

I have been working at Troutman Sanders

    Pros

The culture in Troutman's New York office is more relaxed than that of other New York firms. The individuals (attorneys and staff alike) at the firm are very friendly and supportive. Associates are expected to work hard and are given as much responsibility as they can handle. Partners are approachable and respectful.

    Cons

Overall, there really is no "con" to working at Troutman. Like all firms, there are some long hours, but the work load balance is reasonable.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Increased interaction between the offices is always encouraged. In general, continue on the path the firm is currently heading in.
