It was OK. It seems they had made changes in response to some of the employee criticisms listed in the past

I worked at TruGreen full-time for less than a year

Pros

the 20% sales commission was decent
sales manager very supportive
branch and sales management was good
co-workers were friendly, helpful and supportive
excellent training program given off-site for several days

Cons

on site training poorly organized - mostly listening to staff and ad hoc role playing
poor use of technology
longer hours than needed
6-day work week

Advice to ManagementAdvice

all the info collected about prospects is largely tossed and gathered over and over each year and year after year -- it should be inputted and analyzed
fix long hours by better scheduling methods

I worked at TruGreen part-time for less than a year

    Pros

The pay isn't bad. I was hired for a permanent Part time position, then was let go after a few months and was told it was just a temporary position. The manager seemed quite surprised I was told it was a permanent position.

    Cons

Not run well at all. CSR reps yell at customers on the phone and they are not reprimanded for it. The place was quite dirty. The work is seasonal, they close down for the Winter so if you are looking for a steady paycheck year round, this is not the place for you.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Value the employees you have. Make sure employees are courteous to customers on the phone.
