High end fashion, low end opportunity

I worked at True Religion Apparel full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

75% off on clothing. Relatively brainless work. You also get to meet the wealthy, celebrities and professional athletes. Company makes 60-80 profit margins.

    Cons

No advancement opportunity. The company lacks a strong corporate backbone. Communication from the upper levels down is poor. District managers and above are compensated well, but for the work they do they should not be. Spread the wealth.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Create 1, 5, and 10 year company plans.

    Lacking, not worth your time.

I have been working at True Religion Apparel part-time

    Pros

70% off discount, works with your schedule

    Cons

Quality of product going downhill, lack of growth in updating looks, high school work environment with management and district managers, corporate visits and they do not even introduce themselves or speak to you, very unprofessional, pay rates are terrible unless you're the SM, and evolving into a Guess like company rather then the hippie brand it started as and is ment to be. Its definitely a dying brand, with the abundance of retail store openings and too many outlets. No longer a special brand.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Work on people development, start caring about the people who work hard for you and receive so little in return, better pay equals better quality employees.
