Pros

True Religion has a strong, recognizable brand that everyone loves. What you say "I work for True Religion," you will be the favorite person at the party. True Religion is a great place to learn apparel from the ground up, especially if you are a designer or merchant. The company is growing and is doing better than most in the industry.

Cons

The departments do not work well with each other. It is difficult to move processes forward, especially since there is not a lot of alignment around common goals. Favoritism plays a large role in your career path. Salaries do not seem to be equitably given. The work culture can be toxic and stressful.

I have been working at True Religion Apparel part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Very good discount although it has its limitations.

    Cons

No room for growth. Consistent change of managers. Not appreciated for hard work. Poor training. VERY VERY limited work hours. And worst of all, lots and lots of unprofessional, favouritism behaviour with the managers towards the employees. The management team along with the senior management seem to all be on different pages of managing styles and very broken, and inconsistent.

    Advice to Management

Please, more than anything, stop with the favouritism. Employees who work their butts off, barely take time off, never call in sick, are never appreciated for their hard work and are actually given more negative criticism than the others. And employees who meet the bare minimum, become favourites due to reasons that are maybe not work related, such as being friends out of work. Lets grow up, and be a bit more professional.
