Pros

Was pay but that is starting to lag along with recent cut in benefits.

Cons

Leadership is fairly naive. Very resistant to consult with physicians and nurses regard actual patient care strategies. Upper management believes a business degree in health care administration enables them to direct patient care.

    Cons

over worked with ungratedful patients at times can fustrate you as well as dealing with students and residents. its a teaching hospital

    Advice to Management

try not to stress out your employees, which i havent noticed in quite a while. maybe fight for newer equipment instead of artwork.

    Pros

Teaching hospital. Diverse employee and patient base. Nurses are nice to each other for the most part. Level 1 trauma center. You see many things and get good working knowledge. Great benefits. Supportive environment!

    Cons

Personally, I was told things in the interview that did not come to pass and were changed after hired. Daily equipment is frequently not working. Some of the PCT's don't do their jobs which increases work load.

    Advice to Management

I haven't interacted much with management to advise. I think that feedback is important. Positive as well as negative.
