I worked at Tufts University full-time for more than 8 years

Pros

Great opportunity for employees is their continued education towards a degree--free tuition, unlike other colleges which will reimburse employee which can be costly and take time to refund.

Cons

Limited advancement and double standards

    flexible hours, knowledgable faculty, great library resources, wonderful location to collaborate with other academic institutions and labs

    Cons

    weather is cold most of the year, doesn't maintain facilities to the best standard
