I worked at Tully's Coffee part-time (More than 3 years)

Pros

- Wonderful first job, ideal for high school students - Shows the importance of quality customer service

Cons

- Customers often forget that you are also a human being - Hours can be difficult

Advice to Management

- Change the soundtrack more than one a year (Please delete any songs by Sea Wolf)

    I worked at Tully's Coffee part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    I had a lot of fun working here. Co-workers were nice, manager was awesome and did her best to keep everyone happy.

    Cons

    Not a fan of drive thru and the headsets were awful.

    I worked at Tully's Coffee part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Baristas and leads are young, enthusiastic, and great to work with. The atmosphere can be pleasant, and the workload and expectations decent depending on the store manager.

    Cons

    - Managers can make or break employment - Management is terrible - Managers not held accountable to uphold Tully's procedures and guidelines - They can manage following self selected guide lines, and have imposed false rules under false pretenses - Pay is usually minimum wage, and close to minimum wage even for leads, promised raises do not come - HQ is extremely small, and cannot efficiently nor effectively manage and maintain each store

    Advice to Management

    Hold each other to higher standards, don't impose your responsibilities as extra responsibility on those under you, instead take it upon yourself to work harder to make it a better work environment for all those under you. Keep yourselves in check, don't impose false rules, regulations and fail to hold yourselves to the same standards you expect baristas and leads to live up to.
