I have been working at Tumi full-time (less than an year)

Pros

Close relationship with management, better wages than most jobs at this level, reasonable hours. Non-commission based so there are no sharks in the work place which makes it a successful store.

Cons

Store to store cooperation is not the best. Otherwise than that, I am very happy with the company. In general the policies and compensation is very reasonable

    I worked at Tumi full-time

    Pros

The product, specifically, the ballistic nylon bags, which are a high quality. The current CEO has put the company on the right track but it's an uphill struggle.

    Cons

Corporate office is highly politicized and keeps adding layers of upper management to maintain positions. No growth outside of cronyism. Company suffers from policy and analysis overload

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Less is less. Do away with draconian mindset and respect the people in the field
