I worked at Tumi full-time (more than an year)

Pros

Not very busy, lots of opportunity to fine tune your selling skills. Provides a good opportunity for building a client base.

Cons

Very poor logistics, everything is disconnected. Upper management is very aggressive. Prefer to hire outside of company rather than promote from within. Communication is basically non-existent.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Learn to better communicate with employees at all levels. Learn to appreciate the employees you already have.

I have been working at Tumi full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

A fun and positive work environment that offers GREAT pay with a bonus structure and benefits in place for even part-time employees. They're still growing and opening new locations and there's plenty of growth/advancement potential.

    Cons

It's retail sales so you have to be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays. Store Managers are salaried but only required to work 40 hours/week (which is a pro).
