I worked at Turner Broadcasting full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

    - working with the best in the business
    - phenomenal benefits and perks
    - access to world class resources for development
    - direct impact to business, products and services on-air

    Cons

    - too relationship based re: decision-making vs. capability based
    - pigeon hole and paralyze employees who are tenured
    - financially penalize employees for being committed to the brands

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    - remove the velvet rope and compensate employees for being committed to the brands; we all realize that there is more to working for this company than saying we work here
