I have been working at Turner Broadcasting full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

Smart coworkers, liberal benefits, well known brand names, work on latest technology
Ability to impact and be directly involved in forming current and pop culture
Great company to have n your resume, especially as Atlanta becomes more of a media town

    Cons

Tendency to be pigeonholed at current level, promotions based on who, not what, you know
Some technical management staff seem to have been promoted for their technical, not people, skills
Company has been known to do large layoffs in the past, though more recent layoffs have occurred in very small chunks
