  1. Every position from mgmt to direct care brings in an aspect of drama taking away from the professionalism expected

I worked at Twin Valley Behavioral Healthcare

    Pros

It is a State position therefore its a stepping stone if you want to get your foot in the door. And, there is high turn over rate and getting hired should be easy.

    Cons

Interpersonal boundaires needs to be maintained
    Work schedule is not consistent
Promotion is based on seniority not merit
No trust between management and staff

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Simplify things!!!

Get rid of the union reps who are internal department employees, the personal information and internal investigations are leaked to other employees

Work Schedules should be set for 4 months or more to help employees maintain some consistency in and away from work.

Schedules should be bid based using shifts and work areas

Seniority should not be the reason for promotion, it should be based on merit.
