I have been working at Twitter full-time (less than a year)

    Pros

    Pretty good (conditions apply)
Breakfast and lunch is good but dinner is bad half the time

    Cons

They overwork you.. they do not lead / inspire you, instead they drive you to meet the expectations
When management screws up the plans and cancel whole releases its all okay (as they are doing the right thing no matter what) but when engineers mess up something they point fingers at you.

I worked at Twitter full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

    Dedicated, talented people.
Incredible access. Business, entertainment, you name it. Twitter has a relationship.
Healthy compensation, and at HQ, top notch food.
    Good likelihood you'll ship.
Decent exec communication and great transparency inside the company.
    Hacking culture.

    Cons

Lots of management. Lots of reorgs. No executive team design leadership, and lackluster design culture. Product management runs the show. Little room for creative exploration. Lots of committee-based decisions. Remote offices are a complete nightmare if you are working on the core product.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep the design team entirely in SF.
