Pros

Great culture. Innovative. I work with incredibly smart people and we are all driven to make the company awesome.

Cons

If you don't take advantage of the unlimited time off and work from home opportunities the fast paced work environment might get the best of you.

    I worked at Twitter full-time

    Pros

    - Working with smart and knowledge people every single second
    - Having famous people come into the office on a weekly appearance (athletes, movie stars, singers)
    - Working with individuals that want to make a difference

    Cons

    - Reorganizations to most departments if not monthly then bimonthly
    - Things are very much subjective such as promotions rather metric/benchmark base
    - People get very frustrated/upset in all departments (engineering, HR, sales etc.) because things are chaotic and seem at most times redundant/no one knows what is going on

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Twitter needs to start investing in people within the company that have leadership skills. Twitter continues to proud itself of being a "start up" environment and while it is good to have that atmosphere the company needs to mature quickly and start making processes more streamline since right now is seems like people are running in circles. While Twitter was a great company to work for I do believe that a public traded company needs to have more visibility to their employees (and I'm not meaning Tea Time but in regards to team/org).

I have been working at Twitter full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

Unusually good work-life balance, the best lunch I've ever had, good pay. I'm very happy here.

Unlike Facebook or Google, Twitter is still building a lot of new, great things - there isn't much maintenance or incremental work going on.

    Cons

You've got to be good at learning new things without great docs - the company has been growing so quickly that many projects are poorly documented.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep up the great things you do.
