(at this location) Good team, decent pay, interesting work.

Cons

Many people told me to expect the job to go away. Sure enough, one day they started shipping the work offshore. They also bought a small company for new technology (such as it was) rather than have the existing experience team continue to develop the new generation of product. Not exactly a ringing endorsement of our work. This team is completely gone now.

Not an engineering company. Its run by beancounters on some other coast.

Advice to Senior Management

Employees are not just expenses on your spreadsheets that can be replaced by anybody. The spreadsheet doesn't show the intangibles, such as experience with the product, customers, etc.
