Pros

great benefits, decent salary, company vehicle

Cons

Management mistreats there employees, no leadership from office managers, Management is unorganized and doesn't assist employees in the field, leaves you out to dry

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Treat the guys in the field with more respect and give them the tools to do there jobs instead of worrying about guy's GPS in vehicles, use the GPS to help us work and not as a spying tool.

I have been working at Tyco full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Great co-workers fun to work with.

    Cons

Management is the worst I have seen in my career. Daliy swearing, yelling and intimidation to instill fear for your job. Managers have factory mentality on at all levels. HR is non existent because they are in fear of there job being off-shored.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Train your Managers to be leaders not bullys.

I have been working at Tyco full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

Large corporate structure with lots of money and locations

    Cons

Bean counter mentality with a large force of paranoia forces techs and other employees to watch their back. Most of the people I work with a fearful, day to day, of losing their jobs. From the temps and new hires, all the way to the 30 year veterans, there is a sense that there could be potential, but because of inadequate management and friends hiring friends, there will not be any growth potential unless you rub the back of the right person.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Start listening to your employees. Provide ON THE CLOCK training. Hire people that better the company and the other emplyees instead of who you would like to go golfing with.
