I have been working at Tyson Foods-Arkansas full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    It's better than fast food.

    Cons

Same thing every day gets old fast. No upward mobility. In my plant we reach top pay in 2 years regardless of position. Vacations are one week after first year, two after three years, and three after TEN years. High turnover never know one month to the next if you'll work with the same people, and having good people to work with is the only way to deal with the monotony of it all.

I have been working at Tyson Foods-Arkansas full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Laid back, Get out what you put in, Plenty of opportunity, Ability to grow yourself and others.

    Cons

Usual corporate politics, Complacency of senior personnel is an issue that can work against your ambitions by reducing upward mobility.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Get the senior people to step up and lead. Complacency is an issue among many people that should be in a position of leadership.
