I worked at Tyson Foods full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Paid every week, family environment, good supervisors, and good people to work with, especialy in Final Pack, which was my family

    Cons

Work in the cold unless you worked in the ovens, however, if you work fast enough, you can keep warm

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Communication needs to be better, don't think that the work horse, I was one, is the only person to rely on, make those who don't pull their weight either pull it or fire them.

    Pros

steady work,a job in this present economy

    Cons

Low Pay for maintenance. testing for raises are extream, no time to look at material always on the floor according to Co. policy when they have more than 50 in the maintenace department they need a supervisor in charge of training not there.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Just adhere to your written policy work over your pay scale believe it or not maintenance do have skills that your top pay people do not posses. We lose our weekend for straight time.
