I worked at U-Haul full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

Good people to work with, made many friends there, the company did put on a giant summer party with good food, beer, games and sports. But it stopped doing it..

    Cons

Very poorly managed, corruption, the family that owns the majority of the company (Shoens) fought constantly. There used to be endless memos that came through daily from the founder of the company, a lot of which would degrade employees. The company had dozens of lawsuits at anytime because they didn't maintain their equipment and it was dangerous

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Hell, sell the company, someone can come in, provide good customer service and provide safe vehicles. They need a massive overhaul of their reservation system, people would reserve their needed equipment, then the day they would go to pick it up, the equipment, it was there.
