Pros

No franchising fees, sport from uhaul corporate

Cons

Small commissions and issues with reservation software

    I have been working at U-Haul part-time (more than a year)

    Pros

    Very flexible work hours especially in the winter months.
    Summer hours 20-40 hours per week.
    Winter hours 10- 20 hours per week.
    Reps are required to get 2.25 reservation per hour and if you fallow their rules it's easy to do.
    Management does anything they can to help. Always nice and respectful.

    Cons

    Some customers can be vary rude and policy's change at time with for communication and notice.

    I worked at U-Haul

    Pros

    people at the store level are great but are way under paid expexed to do full time work and comitment while only getting part time hours and min wage

    Cons

    no direction once you are "trained" they ecpect you to treat this as your business but wont pay you what you are worth

    listen to your fornt line emploiees they know what is going on
