A relatively easy-going company, with random but frequent enforcement of silly policy

Customer Service Representative (Current Employee)

Pros-Very little bureaucracy with their open-door policy
-Flexible work schedule for part-time employees
-New things to deal with every day
-Available bonuses if managers choose to give them

Cons-Open every holiday except Christmas
-Long, long hours for managers
-People who are moving (U-Haul's target clientele) tend to be on edge and unfriendly

Advice to Senior ManagementMake sure to keep your employees motivated. Regional managers - be involved, be friendly. Don't be the boss everyone is afraid of. Be knowledgeable, don't act like you are above customer service. It reflects VERY poorly on your character and makes it nearly impossible to lead effectively.

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company

    Eventful, challenging, rewarding
