    Pros

nice manager, easy hours, customer service

    Cons

mediocre pay, no advancement opportunities, policies not always followed

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Do something about the reservation guarantee..seems to be the most complained about area from customers. Needs to be better described to customers that a reservation is NOT a guarantee.
Also the U-box program is very difficult for customers AND employees to understand, and there is always problems with shipping time.

I have been working at U-Haul part-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Very flexible scheduling, management respects you, welcoming environment to work in, and I've learned a lot from working at U-Haul. Now that I've finally earned my Bachelor's degree its time to move on.

    Cons

High stress with relatively low pay compared to what's expected of you, basically everyone is hired as part-time, work weekends and holidays with no holiday pay. I earned $10.50 per hour busting my butt and running the entire center. Sometimes I worked 40-50 hours per week but since I'm technically "part-time" I don't get the benefits of full-time employees (paid holidays, sick and vacation pay)

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Don't be so cheap. We work hard and deserve full time positions
