I worked at U.S. Bank full-time for more than 3 years

Pros

Generally friendly atmosphere
decent pay
The ability to get bonuses depending on how many checking accounts you open, credit cards you book and loans you book.

Cons

Some of the goals to reach a bonus for selling credit cards and getting loans are just too high in some markets.
This company tends to be GREEDY when it comes to giving employee bonuses.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Stop worrying about little things and start figuring out ways to help people reach their quota for bonuses.

  2.

The mortgage division of this bank is a CYA-first,-close-loans-maybe kind of employer.

Former Employee - Processing Supervisor in Cincinnati, OH

I worked at U.S. Bank full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Big name, big expectations, they say the right things to get you in the door.

    Cons

Nothing is as promised. Salary is low, conditions are sub-par, managers prefer to CYA rather than take care of the customer.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Take more care in the people selected for middle management (ROMs), this could help prevent the loss of entire Operations Centers, as you've seen 3 times in the last 6 months. Pay your Processors fairly.

    Doesn't Recommend
    Negative Outlook
    No opinion of CEO
