The job is easy, hours consistent, but the pay is low.

I have been working at U.S. Bank as a contractor (less than an year)

    Pros

US Bank prioritizes keeping employees over expanding and high pay. There are benefits to this, but money is a powerful motivator. My current manager is fantastic and the environment seems to be friendly.

    Cons

Pay is pretty low, work is decent. There is an ability to move into different locations and there are upward mobility paths as well, but it is a time-consuming process. The work can be repetitive and sometimes demeaning.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I appreciate the goal of not laying off workers, but the low pay is demoralizing.

I have been working at U.S. Bank full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

great people to work with. The people you have on your team eventually turns into family at the end. the pay is a little above average and you get a decent sized cubicle that is sometimes shared.

    Cons

hard to get holidays off especially in the 24hr dept. Most management is not very helpful with questions, they are young with a position of power which goes frequently abused.Call center environments so you do get burned out quickly. Not much room for career opportunities without knowing somebody

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Hire an older generation who won't abuse their power.
