    Pros

    Best customer focus I've seen!

    Cons

They don't protect their leaders. If an accusation arises, they immediately back the Associate, not the Leader. What happens a few months down the line...they terminate all employees who are included in the accusation. Of course, the termination is tied to Associate performance. What a shame!

    Advice to Management

Starting from the CEO, she needs to go into the trenches with the Sales Managers. She has hired most of her support team from her previous employers to work with her. Now she needs to go solo to truly understand the pain points of the organization. The focus of terminations should not be on the Sales Managers...look at your Directors and Area Managers. They aren't engaged with developing their leaders. They are order takers and hold pretty harsh conversations telling their leaders what to do instead of showing. Here's the issue...they rarely hire from the outside, mostly promote from within. If they're going to promote from within, the future and current leaders MUST have professional sales training--outside of the company. What you're doing is not working. Recommitting to the D.O. was implemented way too late, although a nice gesture.
