I have been working at U.S. Cellular full-time (more than an year)

Pros

40 hour work week for managers. Never bugged on your days off or vacations. GREAT work/life balance. Training is continuous and wonderful. Benefits for employees are endless. They want their employees to succeed and they help you get to wherever you want to go or whatever you want to be!

Cons

The company is very FOR their customer which is not a bad thing at all, however you can do almost anything possible to please the customer. This causes grey areas at times because one store or leader may do something for the customer and then they come to your store and you may not want to do the same.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Continue what you are doing, you are up front with your associates and leaders and it helps. We are never in the dark.

    Pros

    US Cellular has a great Culture, and has a terrific work environment. They support their leaders and associates with great training. Their salaries are very competitive to the industry standards, and the company has a great benefits package.

    Cons

    The Dynamic Organization, which is a set of values and behaviors the company lives by. The concepts are easy to understand but difficult to master. When interpreted incorrectly leaders and associates lack individual accountability necessary to build a winning organization.

    Good luck! Great idea to scale back several elements of belief project. Tough road ahead all the best.
