Pros

They offer ongoing employee training which allows you to further your job related knowledge. Furthermore if you are the type of individual who likes to stay superbusy while working, this is the right job for you. If you are a giver and like to help people, you will feel fulfilled doing this job, but you have to be very patient because you are generally dealing with people who are in a lot of pain and or sick. Another positive thing is that you can work overtime, if not at your own site, at another clinic nearby. It also felt like they were my extended family.

Cons

You only get 30 minutes for lunch, and 2 15 minute breaks. In addition the medical/dental/vision benefits should cost less to purchase for it should be not free but somewhat of a reward for your contribution and good work you provide for the company.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

A 45 minute unpaid lunch instead of 30 and lower the cost of medical/dental/vision benefits.

    Pros

It is a healthcare... a place where people are cared for, but there are many other better companies to work for that care for people. There are only a few good people in management at this time. Most have left to work for better companies.

    Cons

For profit driven mentality and corporate pressures negatively affect quality and cost of healthcare. Leadership bullies its area and center managers. USHW has high turnover and doesn't value the heard work of teh people who treat the patintts. They can't keep good physicians on staff. The centers work without enough staff to treat the patients adequately.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Listen to field employees more, foster a culture of openess and that which values the daily contributions of the people who treat the patients. Get rid of VPs that bully employees. This does not motivate or foster good work.

    Current Employee - Sales Consultant

    Pros

Provides services needed by the majority of businesses. The work environment is conducive to a relaxed atmosphere. Most employees are easy to get along with.

    Cons

Mediocre base with no room for negotiation during hiring process. No incentive to maintain current accounts. No bonus paid for up selling current accounts.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Offering incentives for up selling additional services not currently being used be employers. More realistic goals for new accounts and call activities.

    No opinion of CEO
