Pros

Speaking of IT only - good culture and great people, quite a few have been around for many years. Some IT folks are people with very deep technical skills. Management in general pretty strong and demanding which can be considered as downside too.

Cons

on IT operations side work/life balance issues, additional weekend/off hours work and in times can be stressful environment to work in. In some areas benefits went down recently due to market, and company losses.

Advice to Senior Management

Sr Management need better plan/policy for employees to address work-load balance issues (avoid people burning). Also better approach to policies in general (for instance take thoughtful view on labor cost of certain policies into account) and technology.
