If you want to make a career, avoid it. Company in bad shape, with very poor culture / bitter people

I worked at UBS full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

+ Good Swiss Bank (Retail + Corporate) and decent Wealth Management business (for now)

    Cons

    - Horrible corporate culture and ambiance, in particular in management-related functions
    - Shrinking / sinking ship, with tons of legacy issues impacting current employees
    - High bureaucracy
    - Few bright people, overshadowed by tons of sinister individuals
    - Very hierarchical and non-meritocratic (incl. salaries)

    Doesn't Recommend
    Negative Outlook

I worked at UBS as an intern

    Pros

love its culture. People are friendly and make the investment banking world not as cruel as I thought it was before.

    Cons

The crisis involves the whole industry, so I'm not sure about its outlook. Really hope UBS can be bright again.

    Recommends
    Neutral Outlook
