Pros

Good pay for an on campus job.
Works with your class/school schedule.
Multiple tiers within the workplace to move upwards.

Cons

Poor effort on some fronts by supervisors to maintain a healthy and effective work place.

Advice to Management

Should take advice from people not in positions of as much power because of our different view and stance on certain matters. Realize what is actually important in the grand scheme of things, and not waste time on things that only hold you back in the short-term.

    Pros

Wonderful, knowledgeable and hard-working peers, Location, University Setting. Your peers will become long-time friends and you will grow professionally there, despite the oppressive managers.

    Cons

EH&S Management does not value its employees; creates oppressive environment. University leadership does nothing to help employees that are in this type of environment. Funding is wasted on projects that have little or no relationship to safety.

    Advice to Management

Treat your employees better, please. You really don't have to micromanage your great staff in order to optimize their performance.
