Current Employee - Research Associate Intern in La Jolla, CA
Current Employee - Research Associate Intern in La Jolla, CA

I have been working at UC San Diego as an intern (more than 3 years)

Pros

With the life sciences emphasis at the UCSD campus, it is quite easy to find a research intern position due to the plentiful amounts of research opportunities.

Cons

Getting your research published published requires some luck, as you likely need to be working with PIs and graduate students that are willing to mentor and bring you up to their level of technical abilities.
