each CRA is given a mentor to meet with every month or so to discuss future education and/or job opportunities

Cons

lots of tedious administrative duties

    I have been working at UC San Francisco full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

    maybe one of the best places to be in academia.in certain departments may feel that you actually work in industry but I think that is overall uni policy.they have also convenient shuttle system.
    various seminar including career development.

    Cons

    depending on the position, salary might be a bit llow, but keeping in mind that this is academia, that is not surprising.
