    Pros

Famous professors, cutting edge research, good on resume, very good if you are considering grad / professional school. Good benefits.

    Cons

Low pay, work experience largely dependent on how involved is the PI, can be fast paced or can be slow throughout. The security of the job is dependent on PI's ability to win over grant funding.
