Pros

Good stepping stone to reach further career goals in medicine and academia. One of the top research and medical institutions. Good, but not great benefits.

Cons

The pay is blow average. Work can be stressful, and can be irregular if you are not doing what you love.

    Pros

ucsf performs world class research, definitely a good place to polish your grad/med school applications. it also provides great benefits

    Cons

although benefit is good, employees are way underpaid as the institute relies on funds from the government. lack of growth opportunities...

    Advice to Management

better paid is needed considering the much higher cost of living in san francisco bay area.
laboratories need to be more efficient
