    Pros

UCB offers a very aggressive benefits package. Compensation can be generous for certain postions. Supplemental retirement program is an added benefits most companies don't offer.

    Cons

While UCB has a written policy against discrimination based on sexual orientation, I can tell you that as a member of the LGBT community this policy is disregarded in many cases. Members of management voice their opinions about the LGBT community without regard to this policy. Members of the LGBT community should exercise caution when considering UCB as a place of employment.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Upper management need to be more involved and aware of the practices of their middle managers and directors. Upper management has a great vision for this company; however, it can't be put in place without middle managers and directors following company policy and procedure.
