UCB Assistant Medical Director R&D in Smyrna, GA:   (Past Employee - 2006)

Pros

Location. Suburban Atlanta is a wonderful place to live.

Cons

1. Belgian company with very socialistic ideology.
2. Disrespect for American scientists and marketplace.
3. Negative work environment.
4. Disrespectful/suspicious of highly trained professionals--in general.

Advice to Senior Management

1. Improve your interaction with the US R&D talent.
2. Consider allowing the US Division more independence.
