    Pros

Friendly, welcoming work environment. Great weather. Great location.

    Cons

A little bureaucratic. But I believe most state colleges and universities are similar in this category.

Former Employee - Computer Lab Consultant

    Pros

Overall an easy, flexible job that pays well for students. I had fun there.

    Cons

Because it's an easy job a lot of students are lazy. They hire some people who are not able to tech troubleshoot. Career staff are overworked because of budget cuts, and can't or don't pay enough attention to student staff. This job will NOT help you land a career position at UCLA.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Cut the lazy/un-knowledgeable student staff. Hire more career staff (this is the university's problem).
