Pros

UCLA is a nice place for learning and working in an academic atmosphere, probably one of the best in the whole country.

Cons

Like any other governmental public organization the bureaucratic and time-consuming processes are making thing slow and suffering in some cases.

    Pros

Hours are flexible and I still have time to go to college and have a life

    Cons

Pay isn't great ; not many opportunities for raises and advancement

    Advice to Management

More ability to move up the ladder. Also, pay could be higher

    Pros

Flexible work hours for my department and good work environment. I had great mentors and supervisors that were very helpful and honest which helped me better my job performance.

    Cons

Even though I loved the work, a lot of the work may sometimes have to happen on your own time especially if you're a small department.
