Former Employee - Research Assistant in Gainesville, FL

I worked at UFL

Pros

Gainesville has great weather--mostly, people are generally very friendly and accomodating, and the Chemistry departmental office does its best to ensure the student's success.

Cons

You'd mostly have to relocate after graduation, especially for science majors. Not many companies present here except for one HUGE university

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Most of the seniour professors in chemistry could be more accessible, and generally collaboration within the department and with other departments should be encouraged!
