    Pros

Travel and deployment on Operations. The Opportunity to command soldiers in UK and on Operations is a unique experience.

    Cons

Can be overly Hierarchical and frustration can set in

    Advice to Management

Keep communicating to the organisation as we go through the rest of the redundancy.

    Pros

Variety of jobs, deliberate and extensive training, opportunities to excell in chosen areas, element of danger, some control over next position/role

    Cons

Restricted time in each post regardless of success, limited opportunity to progress within some specialisations, impact on family when away, pay is lower than many competitors due to the hooks of pension and profile

    Advice to Management

Keep engaging with the people around them, not through their functional areas of interest
