“Decent place to do basic science research, good benefits”
Current Employee – been working at UMass Medical School full-time for more than 8 years
Pros – Good benefits, relaxed academic atmosphere.
Cons – Being a postdoc is a total lottery in terms of a professional future. Have very specific goals to aim for and if you're not coming close, get out ASAP.
