Pros

In this company you will grow. Your skill sets will go from 1 to 100.

This is a large operation and there is a lot going on. In marketing, there is social media outreach, trade show events, video production, model photography, promotional events and communication with top brands in the world (facebook, amazon, groupon, bestbuy, etc.). There is not many "dull" moments.

There is no "Micro-Managing" - this means you have a list of responsibilities and how and when you get them done is up to you.

Products are definitely exciting and customer base is generally young and upbeat.

Cons

I see three negative reviews here submitted on same date from same intern position. Usually, people who complain are ex-interns who were not hired for employment. Sorry...only the best get to stay.

Tip: If you are an intern or new hire, try your best to make a good impression. This is a multi-national company with over 400 employees...employees and management expect you to be professional and follow general work ethics.

Here are some things NOT to do:

Falsifying your qualifications, sneaking out of the office early and hoping no one will find out, blackmailing management to hire you or you won't finish the project, mixing personal issues with what you are supposed to be doing.

And finally, if you don't get the job offer, be professional.

This is NOT the type of company you can BS your way in. You don't get paid to sit. If you don't want to work and don't enjoy what you are doing, I highly recommend, you look elsewhere.

Advice to Management

Having worked with new interns, it seems they don't know the expectations. I think while no micro-managing works very well with people with specialized skills, micro-managing is needed for interns.

    Pros

The employees I worked with were great. Other than that there were truly and honestly no pros whatsoever at this company.

    Cons

very short breaks, minimal pay, such awful management, no sense of team, little to no benefits or holidays, very very toxic work place, getting scolded on a daily basis

    Advice to Management

You really should sit back and take a look at yourselves. You are truly immature and know nothing about managing employees or a company. Your turnover rate is pretty much everyone you hire- I think you have 1 employees there that has been working for you for 2 years- every other employees leaves after a couple months. If you think about that then you'll realize maybe you need to change they way you do things.

    Pros

Because they don't really know what they're doing, you'll get a lot of experience trying many different marketing techniques. Most of the people who work there are nice, good people, but you should totally steer clear of the management.

    Cons

Management has no ideas of their own, but will have absolutely no problem stealing yours.
Management dosen't understand the concept of constructive critisim, so beware of them yelling at you.
Management will never give you any proprietary information such as when the company was founded, your budget, or what they're looking for in any project so you will basically look uninformed and unprofessional to every contact you make outside of the company.
Don't get attached to any of your ideas, because no matter how hard you work your ideas will not come to fruition.

This is literally the sketchiest place you will ever work. They will lie to your face and will expect you to lie for them. They don't want their photos online, they don't want to give you any information abou the company and will tell you just to make it up, you will have to fight tooth and nail for your first paycheck, if you work in sales watch out for your commissions, and they will fire you for any reason.

There is nothing good about working here.

    Advice to Management

You claim that you don't "micro-manage" your employees, but that is a total lie. Having your employees submit a detailed list of everything they did that day is exactly what micro-managing is.

Pay your employees what they're worth, otherwise they'll leave.

Remember that your emeployees are HUMAN and gasp, so are you. Things happen, people make mistakes, but ripping people apart for every minor infraction and never celebrating their successes leads to a toxic and disparaging work place.

Have ideas of your own and stop asking people to recreate what's already out there.

Stop lying to your employees and ask them to lie for you, this is called FRAUD.

Don't make promises, such as having someone come and train your employees on the special skills you'd like them to use to help you business, if you can't keep them.

Learn to listen, because literally everything we ever said to you went in one ear and out the other.
