Pros

Part time with benefits, tuition reimbursement, school bonuses, day or night schedules.

Cons

Physically demanding, high injury rate because of lack of sleep for 3rd shifters, may trap you while using school reimbursement because you overload yourself and fail classes.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Encourage employees to balance their work/school schedules.

I have been working at UPS part-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

If you work at a UPS that requires Union membership for hourly work then chances are you have the best benefits period, even part time work which is unheard of.

    Cons

You start off doing extreme physical labor doing part time work loading and unloading trucks. It will get you in shape or injure you, those are usually the only 2 outcomes.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Usually pretty good working with employees with respect to the Union. It's a teamwork environment.
