Current Employee – been working at UPS
Pros – UPS is a great company to work for. Job security is not even an issue. You know the senior management team in Atlanta is solid and knows how to steer the company through a resession. The company is over 100 years old so they have weathered many storms. The benefits are among the top in the industry, and there are plenty of advancement opportunities if you commit yourself to the company.
Cons – They demand a lot of your time. You often work overtime and don't get paid. You are expected to work hard no matter what. You must deliver results. Anything less than plan is unacceptable.
Advice to Senior Management – Keep running things efficiently and steer us through this recession. We are very grateful to not have any job cuts or pay cuts.
Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend
