I have been working at UPS as a contractor (less than an year)

    Pros

learning process is step by step so that you can pick up slowly, good stepping stone for graduates, deal with region companies all over the world. A small department handling many bids and supporting the sales personnel and supply chains

    Cons

longer working hours due to earlier reporting time and shorter lunch break, but it all depends on department. Not much staffs benefits

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

no point having so many supervisors and only one staff supporting one supervisor, although i have to say quick promotion is tempting.

    Recommends
    Negative Outlook
    No opinion of CEO

I have been working at UPS part-time (less than an year)

    Pros

You only have to work a four hour day
If you stay there for the rest of your life, one day you can become a driver
    Health insurance

    Cons

    You will be underemployed
Supervisor will call you in with short notice

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Be clear about compensation and set a schedule.
Hire some educated managers, not just folks who have worked there a while

    Doesn't Recommend
    Negative Outlook
    Disapproves of CEO
