    Pros

overall a good place to work

    Cons

senior management. unreal expectations for some areas. blanket procedures and operations.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

management needs improvement. stop with the busy work for hourly and supervisors. Idle paperwork never gets more done than understanding the workgroup.

I worked at UPS full-time (less than a year)

    Pros

It paid a salary above minimum wage.
It was accessible by not too much public transport.

    Cons

At some point they came up with this rule that you could not have sideburns or earrings longer than your ears, a beard, and other things related to appearance, that you could not pass personal phone calls during office hours, and other things I forget. During the staff meeting, the head of personnel announced this and asked: Any questions? An employee answered: Not a question, but an objection. Then two guys grabbed the employee and dragged him out of the room.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Stop violating individual liberties. Your behaviour is unacceptable.
