Pros

The hours, hourly rate, and benifits. As a part time worker this job has helped me both fiscally and personally. It has allowed me to be independent and afford the extra things in life that keep me comfortable. The health benifits are priceless. I also have a full time during the day. Although it is my career job the benifits they offer can not hold a candle to the ones I receive from UPS. I am so used to working the part time hours that it is just an every day part of my life. Oh yeah, UPS is closed on the weekends. Haven't worked a weekend in twenty years!

Cons

Little time for home/social life. Most people are home and relaxing from their jobs between the hourse of 5pm and 9pm. For the past twenty years now I have been a part time employee here at UPS. I am not able to involve myself with family, friends, or relationships during those four hours Monday through Friday, but it is a small price to pay for the financial peace of mind UPS has allowed me.

Advice to Senior Management

Give recognition when it is deserved. Even as a part time employee it is nice to be recognized for a job well done. To be appreciated can sometimes be more valuable than a paycheck.
