“Put me through school”
Current Employee – been working at UPS part-time for more than 7 years
Pros – Good Pay, Great benefits, they pay your way through school, depending where in the country you work you will be a union employee when hired on.
Cons – Don't plan on ever having any time in December off, the pay starts low before it gets good (takes a year or two before the hours/pay combination doesn't hurt so bad) It's union for those who are anti-union. You pick vacation in order of seniority at the beginning of the year so you have to choose when you're going to take off before you can figure out what you'll do with that time off.
Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company
